PrikDate is a free group trip planning tool. This page explains, in plain language, what data is needed to make trip polls work and how it may be used.
No account is required to create or respond to a PrikDate poll.
What data PrikDate stores
PrikDate stores the data needed to create, share and display trip polls. Depending on how a poll is used, this may include:
- trip or event name
- organizer name
- participant names entered by users
- selected availability dates
- maybe dates, if the maybe option is enabled
- destination poll options and destination votes
- confirmed dates or confirmed date ranges
- basic poll settings, such as theme or whether optional features are enabled
Why this data is used
This data is used to make the core product work: creating a poll, sharing a link, collecting availability, showing results and helping the group choose travel dates.
Please do not enter sensitive personal information in trip names, participant names, destination options or poll responses. PrikDate is intended for simple planning information only.
Analytics
PrikDate may use basic analytics to understand how the site is used, improve the experience and spot technical issues. Analytics are used for general product insight, not for requiring user accounts.
Cookies and advertising
PrikDate may use essential local storage or cookies to remember tool data, language choices and cookie preferences so the website can work properly.
Optional analytics may be used to understand usage and improve the site. Optional advertising scripts, such as Google AdSense, may also be used to support the site. You can accept or reject optional cookies in the cookie banner and change your choice later with the Cookie settings link in the footer.
When Google AdSense or advertising partners are used, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve ads. Google advertising cookies may be used to show ads based on prior visits to PrikDate or other websites.
You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings.
Contact messages
If you contact PrikDate, the information you send, such as your name, email address and message, is used to read and reply to your request.
Service providers
PrikDate may rely on hosting, database, analytics and delivery providers to run the website and store poll data. These providers help keep the tool available and functional.
How long data is kept
Trip poll data is kept while it is needed to provide the poll and show its results. Old or inactive polls may be cleaned up over time.
Your choices
You can avoid adding personal details by using first names, nicknames or neutral trip names. If you have a privacy question or want to ask about a specific poll, contact PrikDate via the contact page.
Changes to this policy
This privacy policy may be updated when PrikDate changes or when clearer wording is needed. The latest version is always published on this page.
